‘If we have 25 percent capacity, we can make it’: Shock banking on fans for revenue in 2021

SPOKANE, Wash — The comeback season was all set for 2020 for the Spokane Shock’s return till the coronavirus pandemic put a halt on these plans.

The crew now seems to 2021 for its official return. The Shock’s 16-game schedule was launched on Tuesday.

The query now could be if there may be restricted to no fan attendance, how will that influence the group financially sooner or later?

Shock proprietor Sam Adams says having followers at video games is large for income.

‘If we’ve got 25 % capability, we will make it,” he stated. “Our small enterprise thrives like different small companies on patrons, on individuals coming to video games, individuals attending video games. Our sponsors will not be comfortable and folks will not be comfortable. Taking part in with out followers just isn’t one thing we look ahead to.”

Adams stated with or with out followers, the Shock will play video games in 2021.
