TOKYO (Reuters) – Tokyo Gasoline stated on Wednesday it will make investments about 20 billion yen ($193 million) in British retail vitality agency Octopus Power and that they’d kind a three way partnership in Japan to produce energy to retail prospects.
By becoming a member of up with Octopus Power, a fast-growing start-up provider in dwelling nation Britain because of its digital know-how, Tokyo Gasoline goals to seize a much bigger slice of Japan’s electrical energy market, an official on the Japanese agency stated.
Tokyo Gasoline and Octopus Power plan to arrange the three way partnership in Japan in February, and begin offering providers in autumn 2021.
